Mocha Chocolate Brownie Dessert

Ingredients: 12 tablespoons unsalted butter 4 ounces dark chocolate, chopped 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar, loosely packed 2 large eggs + 1 egg yolk 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 3/4 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 1/2 tablespoons espresso powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 coffee @simplesquares , chopped . . Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350℉. Line a 8x8 baking dish with aluminum foil. Spray with cooking spray. In a microwave safe bowl, combine the butter and dark chocolate. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until melted, around 1 ½ minutes total. Set aside to cool. 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, and salt until combined. 3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and cooled chocolate/butter mixture. Whisk until smooth. 4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet, mixing with a rubber spatula until smooth. Fold in the chopped coffee @simplesquares . 5. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth out the top with a rubber spatula. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until center is set and a toothpick comes out clean.
